Josée Beaudoin
Vice-présidente Montréal, Innovation et Transfert, CEFRIO
Since 2002, CEFRIO heads the École éloignée network project in collaborations with MELS and 22 school commissions. Currently there are several schools participating and we are currently implemented measures to ensure the continuity of this teaching model in the Québec education system. A summary of the project results will be presented. What avenues are envisioned to integrate these innovative practices in the number of regional multi-age group schools? What type of technical infrastructure is required to assure the efficacy of this model, specifically in terms of videoconference class content. This lecture will examine the principles of the project by CEFRIO and the participating school commissions.
Since 1993, Josée Beaudoin leads CEFRIO research-action projects on advanced topics related to the incorporation of TICs, in partnership with private organizations, public and university researchers: the transformation of public services through the use of informatics, the assisted learning by TIC (e-learning) in various industrial sectors, new models of e-business and e-collaboration in small and medium enterprises.
She also directs the implementation of an innovative project in education, namely the networking of small regional schools through collaborative tools. By managing such projects, she actively contributes to the implementation of new models of knowledge transfer between universities and organizations. Previously, she worked for the office of the Québec Minister of Communications and in the field of corporate training in the university system. She holds degrees from both the Université de Montréal and McGill University.
