logo_risq2RISQ (Réseau d'informations scientifiques du Québec, - Quebec's Scientific Information Network) will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. RISQ 2009, an important event in the world of advanced Internet networks, is an interactive annual conference that will be held at the Palais des congrès in Montreal, on November 26, 2009.

2008-1We are expecting approximately 200 attendees from Quebec’s research and Education (R&E) community to participate in this year’s conference in order to discuss advanced networking issues, innovative research programs and emerging technologies. Researchers, engineers, administrators, teachers and developers are all invited to join this scientific forum to share their knowledge and ideas.

Prestigious companies such as CISCO and IBM are supporting this year’s RISQ conference not only financially but will also enrich the content by providing high quality presentations. RISQ 2009 is also sponsored by CANARIE, Canada's Advanced Research and Innovation Network. CANARIE facilitates leading-edge research and big science across Canada and around the world.

2008-2Registration and participation to the annual conference is complimentary for all RISQ actual and potential members in the R&E network, government, public corporations and non-profit organizations. A registration fee of $ 350 is applicable to company representative who aren’t contributing as an official partner.
